We can’t wait for the Cocoon show at ‘The Warehouse Proj’, the lineup is wicked: Josh Wink & Villalobos… There has been some really good tunes out in the shop on the cocoon label including: Beroshima – horizon .

To top it all off the night before cocoon is the Sasha party at Nation. So that is going to be messy weekend for the 3beat gang!

Maybe a scratch lesson from Rob Cain or dinner with Anton Powers, something of that caliber… So if your not already our friend hit us up and if you do or don’t like our prizes, or have other suggestions then let us know

Z Factor

Friday, March 28th, 2008

Dave Lee is back with another slamin’ Z factor release. A killer double header of retro house vibes. The A side is home to keep climbing, a chunky old school joint feat the vocals of Dawn Tallman. If the deeper preacher vocal led style is for you head to – Somebody. Another winner from Zedd.

 digweed 3 beat
3 Beat Records customer John Digweed has allowed me to make another mix for his Global Transistions radio show, well when I say he’s allowed me.. I mean I pestered him until he cracked.. but its all good!

Kiss FM was first to broadcast Transistions (also the name of his superb CD series with Renaissance) and now it is a Globally transmitted… So its quite an honour! April 12th is the date.. so watch out!

Cheers JD!

King Unique – Sugar High – Remixed by Fanciulli and Boratto

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

 king unique 3 beat

The Classic King Unique track Sugar High that was a huge club smash a few years back, with all of the big DJ’s hammering it from all of the prog biggies like Sasha, Digweed, Howells to the housey and techno boys like Funk D’Void, Pete Heller and of course Lord Tong!

Its now back on King Uniques own label Curfew with one of the most anticipated remix packages that we’ve heard. Wonderkid Nic Fanciulli steps up first, and even though we haven’t heard the mix, I’m actually drooling at the prospect!

Gui Boratto lines up for the techno massive, and with the form he has been on lately, again drooling is at maximum drool setting for this one too!

And the Ku boys themselves have a go too!

We are excited – you should be too.
