Quivver is back with another monster, ‘Surin‘ on his own Boz Boz imprint, and its a melodic housey flavoured winner, remeniscent of old school prog, but then very slight touches of deadmau5, and all retained within Quivvers own wicked production skills. So is it prog? (did you read our prog blog?) anyway, its bloomin great and we like it! Good old Quivver…

Derrick Carter is playing Aztec @ The Carling Academy in Liverpool on Friday 11th April supported by Jemmy! We can’t wait for this, we remember when Derrick came into 3 Beat last time he played at Aztec and bought a load of quality vinyl… but much to our surprise he bought a copy of ‘Fedde le Grande - Put your hands up for detroit’, weird eh!?

We’ve been really busy in the studio over the last couple of months on some great projects, which we can now let you in on! One of the big one is for Warners who have a new label starting and have signed Dj disciple & Dawn Tallman’s Work it out from D’s wicked Catch 22 label ! Were also working on remix projects from labels like Skint, which is great  we really respect what Skint stands for as a label. were also working with Poole & on our brand new label Bachelour Pad which is shaping up really well, we have 2 realeases ready to go inc Berlin & Out Of Time with the wonderful Abigail Baily who’s also worked on our Hyper go go cover Never Let Go that is looking like a biggie for us. you wait till you hear the Tom Novy mix … Large !! As well as Sean Danke & Snheizer Goodman’s eerie groover ‘Sin’s in the Dark’, Zoo Brazil’s ‘Back to Back’ and no Gung-Ho! release would be complete without Icelanders GusGus contributing -  so ‘Need in me’ is included with President Bongo on remix duty.

Played back in Liverpool last night at Alma De Cuba….pleasure as always. Will be back in a couple of weeks to guest at Rude at Garlands, which will be the first time I have played at the venue since the fire….it’s gonna be a bit of a Garlands Troopers Reunion….bring it on! Then to top it off, got booked to play Creamfields, which has been an ambition of mine for many years, even better CHIC are on the main stage….so hope to see you all in a field somewhere near Warrington on a sunny 23rd August.

 Great to see that 3Beat is still propping up the dance scene in Liverpool, fuelling the dj’’s with the amunition to cause maximum dancefloor devistation….keep up the great work Thomas.
