The hot new Trentemoller track is a lush deep melodic slice of goodness, Its Called Miss You, and we love it! Haunting and epic, this will be a large club  track we at 3 beat think! Remixes from Pascal FEOS, Pole and Lulu Rouge complete the package too.

3 Beat Records good friend DJ Trix was recently over in Germany for a music conference, he also played Cocoon (Sven Vaths night) which was one of his dreams!

On the way back from Germany on the plane, suffering with what turns out to be Sinusitis, he blew his nose, which hurt him a lot, which in turn made his eyes started bleeding, which caused the woman sitting next to him on the plane to think that there was a Chemical Warfare attack happening mid flight, and caused mass hysteria!

Electric City in Dublin have some wicked line-ups coming up, including 3 Beat’s very own Jemmy: March 13th – Dj Hell, March 27th – Troy Pierce and Donnacha Costello, 3rd April – Sunil Sharpe & Chymera & 10th April – Jemmy.

The Chymera party will be a little bit special we think – he’s had some outstanding releases in the shop of late, including: Shadowdancer, Wish and Umbrella

I’ve just been booked for a mini indoor festival run by Rob Da Banks Sunday Best… I’ve been asked to play a balearic set, so i’m dusting off my classic this weeknd ready for it!

“Just popped into 3beat as we’ve just been doing the Clubland tour (which was absolutely amazing).. Said hi to all the guys there as i haven’t seen them in almost a year! Was gonna do a surprise gig at the pleasure rooms but won’t have time now till May or June so hopefully then… was great to be in Liverpool again and see all the old friends and i can’t wait to come back and spend more time with everyone! Musicwise has been amazing – the Ultimate Nrg 3 compilation went number 1 so thanks to everyone who bought it and for the feedback too. Means a lot to me. Look out for new singles coming soon and soon I got a long flight home so I’m gonna say goodbye for now and see u scousers soon!”

Thomas Tuft has invited me to play at a new night called Back To My Roots launching Easter Sunday @ Kingdom, a cool new bar in Liverpool – the emphasis of the night is to play the tunes that influenced me in to liking house music and the music that I play today.

i have not so long ago moved house, and so all of my records are in cardborad boxes! So that means trawling through nearly 20,000 tunes to find tunes for the night! (it will take me aaaaages!!)

I’m trying to find tracks that did actually influence me musically (rather than trying to be over cool pretending that I was in to early Talking Heads or obscure Depeche Mode or disco tunes that I like now, but I’d never heard of back in the day!!), and so I’ve been making a list, so far (amongst a bloomin long list that would probably bore you silly!) includes Kate Bush – Running Up That Hill, L’il Louis – French Kiss, Gwen Guthrie – Aint Nothin Going On But The Rent, and tunes from Sister Sledge, Pet Shop Boys, Tears For Fears…

Janet Jackson’s Feedback has landed on a very tasty US double pack reminds us of the old days, when you used to get about 6 or 7 good mixes from various big producers.
