Fresh out of high-school, 19 year-old Canadian songstress Alyssa Reid is already a platinum selling artist in her native Canada, holding her own against top selling international acts like Lady Gaga, JLo and Britney.

Alone Again puts a new spin on all-girl rock band Hearts 1987 hit, with updated lyrics co-written by Alyssa. A featured appearance by Chicago-based rapper Roman, of Jump Smokers fame (Katy Perry, Usher, Beyonce, Rihanna, Pitbull and Mariah Carey) along with remixes by Westfunk, Voodoo and Serano and the legendary Sunship crew guaranteed its success.
"Alone Again" puts a new spin to a tune that was number one for all-girl rock band Heart back in 1987. The updated lyrics, co-written by Alyssa, get right to the heart of today's audience. The song connects. And with remixes from Kiss FM's Steve Smart and Westfunk, hot German house producers Voodoo and Serano and the legendary Sunship crew its success is set to build and build.
Like her fellow countryman Justin Bieber, Alyssa 's record label discovered her on YouTube where she 'd posted her interpretation of a Bieber hit, "One Less Lonely Girl ". Penned from a girl's point of view she renamed it "One More Lonely Boy ". By the time Wax Records picked up on it the song had already attracted 200,000 hits.
A self-taught musician, Alyssa writes on the guitar and piano. She wrote her first song when she was 7 years old and has been developing her powerful voice ever since, winning scholarships to Performing Arts schools in LA and NY.
