There’s a hot new remix of Bedrock - Gridlock that has been causing a fuss with trainspotters, including us at 3 Beat. Its still a bit of a mystery who has remixed this monster, but here’s a clip of Digweed playing it at the weekend @ The Mansion for WMC in Miami. We’ll get on the case to find out who it is by and report back soon!

**** Hot New Info *** The remixer is Spanish producer Henry Saiz, who has several tracks on Digweeds Transitions 4 CD, and it will be forthcoming on Bedrock records very soon!
Does Eric Prydz ever sleep? Or does he just sit there locked in his room making anthems? 3 Beat Records staff are al amazed by how consistant this chap is - he’s had poppy hits under his Eric Prydz name, Pryda is his underground guise and the Cirez D is when he wears his techno hat - yet they are all outstanding… how des he do it?
Fabric Test is the latest one that we’ve heard, and its huge - check it out when Sasha and Digweed dropped in in Miami

Proving my trainspotter status is still as good as ever, i managed to piece together bits of information, and although I wasnt even at the Sasha gig at Circus, I manged to find out before anybody else that went what the ‘huge vocal tune’ was that he dropped in the middle of the night!
Its the new Sasha remix of the new Ladytron track, and it will appear first on Sasha’s Involver 2…
watch this space!
the Amazing Guy Gerber returns to his own awesome Suppliment Facts lable, with what we can only desribe as a belter of a track!
Guy seems to take in house, tech house, techno and progressive flavours with his music, and somehow cpture all of those musical genres superbly that they are played by DJ’s accross the board without having to compromise.
Disorientation is a hypnotic undergroung groove with orchestral strings, techie percussion, a housey groove, mad jazzy licks that are effected to the max, an old school house groove and a subtle progressive edged structure.
If thats not enough remix honours go to Johhny D and reboot, and with DJ’s like Garnier, David K, Chaim and Fortier already spinning this gem, we’re sure that the list will grow and grow.
When Pete Tong announced that he was going to be ditching Ibiza Town’s glamourous Pacha club for San Antonio’s Eden there was huge speculation as to who would be named resident DJ of Pure Pacha.
For a number of years Pete Tong entertained crowds at the opulent venue under the Pure Pacha brand, and with Tong jumping ship there was a huge void that needed to be filled.
Step forward Sander Kleinenberg and his DVJ spectacle.
We’ve known John Graham (aka Quivver) at 3 Beat for about 12 years, as he as always been a loyal customer here.. and so we know that he’s been working on an album for pretty much that ammount of time too…. finishing on several occasions, and then deciding to change it…and then done it again.. and then changed his mind, well its finally done and dusted and about to hit the streets!
The album ‘Dirty Nails & Vapour Trails’ is coming on Quivvers own Boz Boz label and is coming some time in June. A 10 tracker with mostly previously unavailable stuff, then if you’ve ever liked this mans grooves, you will be needing this in your life!
With Sasha, Digweed, Seaman, Warren & Cattaneo the only 5 with this album, and all supporting, it looks like a real winner from the Coventry chappie who now lives in LA.
Rave griffin Guru Josh and his magical saxaphone return remixed for 2008, and its rather cool to boot! 3 Beat Records have just taken stock of this, and it made us giggle… should it have been left to depths of history or should it be back all freshened up, like he\s just been wiped down with a wet wipe by his mum?
Remix honours go to Klaas who add the typical current electro groove thats big Globally right now, and then Jerome Isma-ae who teases bits of the sax and then goes into a virtually sax free techie slammer of a mix!
2008? Time for the Guru?
