Brooklyn’s finest purveyors of psychedelic sunshine – Corbu – are back with a new single “Believe The Lie”.
Radio 1′s arch tastemaker Zane Lowe has been a fan of the band since their debut single “We Are Sound”, and gave their new track it’s first play on his show last night.
If you missed it you can listen back here.
“Believe The Lie” brings a slightly darker edge to Corbu’s electro-pop sound – it’s an irresistible fusion of an hypnotic bassline with delicious waves of synths.
The Guardian chose Corbu to be their New Band of the Day on March 31st, NME’s Radar column picked them up and they created a buzz in the blogsphere.
We predict big things ahead for these stars-in-the-making.
Look out for the official music video for “Believe The Lie” which is due to land anytime now.
