The mighty Sigma joined Capital Xtra’s Toni Philips to add their support to Globals Make Some Noise earlier.
As well as treating listeners to live versions of their current hit “Redemption” and past smashes like “Glitterball” and “Nobody To Love” – dnb’s dynamic duo smashed it with a cover of Rihanna’s “Diamonds” with Zoe and Daniel sparkling on vocals.

The mighty Sigma delivered a blistering performance at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Norwich yesterday, along with hype-master-general MC Justyce and vocalists Daniel Pearce and Zoe Kypri.
Sigma were joined by special guest Jacob Banks to kick off their set with “Redemption”.
The brilliant Ella Eyre jumped on the mic – and all around the stage – for “Changing”.

If the single grabs the top spot on the Official Chart this Sunday it will be Sigma’s second consecutive Number 1, and Paloma’s first. Sigma’s previous single “Nobody To Love” shot to the top of the UK chart back in April.

It just went Platinum in Australia after racking up 70 thousand sales. To date, “Nobody To Love” has sold 550 thousand in the UK, 100 thousand in Germany, 35 thousand in Holland & Belgium combined, 20 thousand in New Zealand and 25 thousand across the rest of the world. That’s just 200 thousand short of a million sales worldwide.
Not bad for a record that started life as a remix for Sigma’s DJ set!

Drum & Bass superstars Sigma have just unleashed new single “Changing”, the follow up to their global smash “Nobody To Love”. Signing up the immensely talented Paloma Faith as featured vocalist and enlisting the help of a full orchestra, Sigma have produced another monster hit!!
Annie Mac gave “Changing” its debut play in her Special Delivery slot on BBC Radio 1 last night.
The official video is set for release next week (watch this space) and you can get the single on iTunes pre-order now!
Sigma (aka Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzi) are having a massive year! Currently in the midst of a packed summer schedule with shows across the globe including appearances at Glastonbury, Global Gathering, Ibiza Rocks and Bestival, they’ve also bagged remix credits on some of 2014’s biggest records – including Kiesza’s “Hideaway”, Route 94’s “My Love”, Clean Bandit’s “Extraordinary”, DJ Fresh’s “Dibby Dibby Sound” and DJ Zinc’s “Show Me”.
Paloma Faith’s third album A Perfect Contradiction – released in March – has already gone Gold. It features collaborations with a host of music giants including Pharrell Williams, John Legend, Raphael Saadiq and songwriter Diane Warren.

The track is the third biggest selling single of 2014 so far with 121,000 copies bought in the first week of release. Sigma beat The Vamps and Aloe Blacc to take the top spot.
Cam & Joe popped in to the Official Charts office to pick up their award and gave them the inside info on what’s next for team Sigma:
It couldn’t have happened to a nicer pair of bass heads! After leaving the BBC Radio 1 studios – where they’d been chatting with Jameela Jamil – the guys hooked up with the label and promo team, management, friends, girlfriends and family (big up the Mums and Dads!!) and celebrated into the small hours.

It’s official!! Sigma’s perfectly pitched sunshine smash “Nobody To Love” is the top selling record in the UK!
The track is now Number 1 on the official midweek chart as well as being Number 1 on the Vodafone Big Top 40.
And the chances of the drum and bass duo holding on the top spot look pretty strong. According to the Official Charts website “Nobody To Love” is currently outselling closest rival “Last Night” by The Vamps by more than 18,000 copies at this mid-way stage!
