Radio 1’s Queen of Daytime Sara Cox has picked Stylo G’s hot dancehall smash “Soundbwoy” to be her ‘Big Thing’ this week. She’ll be playing the single every day between 10am and 1pm.

Liverpool’s finest dance export Cahill are riding high with their new single “Feel The Love”. The track, which features American singing star Kimberely Locke, is currently number 1 in the Music Week Commercial Pop Chart!
Danny Howard has long been a supporter and ended his Saturday ‘Dance Anthems’ show on Radio 1 with the Grum remix of “Feel The Love”. You can listen back here (from 2:56:35 in).

Superstar DJ Steve Aoki has fallen for the TS7 mix of “Feel The Love” and the track is being well supported in the UK by DJ’s such as Radio 1’s Greg James and Danny Howard. Kiss FM’s Steve Smart is a fan and the track is already on the Ministry Of Sound playlist.

Things are hotting up for UK dancehall star Stylo G as excitement about his latest single “Soundbwoy” continues to build.
The single was added to the BBC Radio 1Xtra playlist last week. And this week “Soundbwoy” burst into the Music Week Urban Club Chart at number 7 – the week’s highest new entry.
Zane Lowe played the Sigma remix of the track on his show on Radio 1 on Wednesday night (he played the original mix in a previous show). Initial Radio 1 support for the single came from Toddla T and Rob Da Bank. Choice FM has been hammering it for weeks, so has Rinse FM.
And on Saturday “Soundbwoy” was the soundbed for the ‘Showboat’ feature on Sky Sport’s popular magazine show Soccer AM.
That sent the single shooting to Number 2 on the iTunes Reggae chart!
“Soundbwoy” is released on May 26th but is available to pre-order on iTunes now with remixes from DiGenius, Sigma and Ross Couch.

Actor Idris Elba joined national treasure Trevor Nelson to co-host the second hour of his 1Xtra show on BBC Radio 1 on Saturday night.
Best know for his roles in TV shows The Wire and Luther, Elba is no stranger to the decks – he’s a massive music fan and has been DJing since he was a teenager.
And on Saturday night Idris Elba showed the world that he is a man of impeccable taste, dropping four – YES FOUR – 3 Beat tracks into his guest mix! First up was TS7’s new single “Heartlight” featuring Liverpool’s hottest rising star Taylor Fowlis. Next came “Beat Down”, Steve Aoki’s massive collaboration with Angger Dimas and Iggy Azalea. He closed his set with two 3 Beat tracks back-to-back. Brand new Stylo Gee “Soundbwoy” which Idris predicts will be a “summer smasher“ and then Sway & Kano’s “Still Sway & Kane” featuring Tigger Da Author.

It was a BIG weekend for “Heartlight”! The debut single from TS7 – which features the fabulously talented Liverpudlian singer Taylor Fowlis – was released yesterday on iTunes.
On Saturday “Heartlight” beat off competition from Nicky Romero’s latest offering “Same Man” to be named Trending Track on Danny Howard’s Dance Anthems show on BBC Radio 1. You can listen back here.
The win sent the track soaring to number 17 on the iTunes UK dance albums chart.

On Saturday 6th he’ll be in Liverpool headlining the Courtyard at Cream for the legendary club’s 20th birthday bash.
