The SBTV stage was rammed for Fuse ODG’s performance – the whole tent erupted when he started playing ”Antenna”. We spotted some pretty slick Azonto moves going down in the crowd too!

People’s Prince Charlie Sloth has chosen “Soapbox” – the new single from “Magnetic Eyes” star Baby Blue – to be his Record of The Week! The track will play out every day this week on Charlie’s 1Xtra drivetime show between 4 and 7pm. Baby Blue will join him live in the 1Xtra studio on Thursday, April 4th.
Best known for her recent chart smash with Matrix & Futurebound, the London based singer, rapper, songwriter and all round superstar returns to her rap roots with “Soapbox”. The tough-talking street track has Blue throwing out punchline after punchline and features the production skills of hot new talent Diztortion (currently grabbing attention for his work on Stylo G’s “Soundbwoy” and Lethal Bizzle’s “They Got It Wrong” featuring Wiley).
If you didn’t already see the video for “Soapbox”, made by SBTV, you can check it out here.
Charlie Sloth debuted the track in March and Blue joined him on the phone…jokes! If you missed it the first time round you can listen back here.
Since then it’s been getting spins across 1Xtra (DJ Target, Viz, Nick Bright), Choice FM (Woody, Manny Norte, Firin Squad, Ras Kwame) and Rinse FM.
