Copyright laws extended…
3 Beat have just been e-mailed by the the BPI, who have just announce that proposals to extend British copyright in sound recording from 50 to 95 years, which obviously great news for artists like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Elvis, The Beach Boys etc.. all of which would have lost control of their early works… and the record labels muxt be rubbing their hands together with glee (and relief!) as they would obviously still after all of these years be HUGE earners for the labels.
